Adam Guggenheim is a visual artist who captures and layers his photos to create portals to new realities. His work as a full-time photographer and videographer the past twenty years has provided him with a deep archive of textures, colors and moments that he samples from to meld the scraps of time and defy constraints of traditional photography. His four ongoing series, Save the Scraps, The Phenomenon, Mis-en-scène and Floral Incursion, are canvases that depict these new realities.
He is also a full-time Sr. Creative Partner (Photojournalist/Videographer) at Portland General Electric.
Prior to stepping into his role at PGE in 2022, he was the staff Photojournalist and Videographer for the Office of Marketing and Communications at University of Portland. He also served as Photojournalist and Video Storyteller for Portland Magazine.
Previously, Adam worked as a Producer at Swanson Studio, Production Coordinator at LAIKA, and Production Assistant on MTV's "Pimp My Ride."
